In other news: Another Berkeley shooting that wasn't

We had some inquiries today about a report of a shooting victim at Alta Bates Hospital on Thursday.

Some community members saw alerts about it on NextDoor and Citizen.

As we've said before, those reports are often completely wrong and should be taken with a massive grain of salt.

We had already checked with BPD last night about other things and were told nothing major had happened. We confirmed today that there was no shooting victim reported in Berkeley last night.
