TBS Today, April 11
On Thursday night, we broke the news about an apartment fire in central Berkeley that may have displaced one resident.
BFD said the damage was estimated at $40,000 and that the resident was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
We went to the scene for a closer look.

Also: Sixteen people who had been staying in Berkeley's Civic Center Park agreed to move into housing in recent weeks and the tents that dotted the west side of the park have been removed, officials said this week.
Here's what we know.

On Friday, we published the name of the Berkeley woman who died after an apartment fire earlier this month.
We've been asking for updates regularly. The name finally became available today.

In other news
Thursday night, we attended the memorial at the Brazilian Room for Ben Brown, who was killed while walking in Berkeley in November.
We were able to meet many of the people who spoke to us after Brown's death and shared such poignant stories about the impact he made on their lives.
It was a beautiful event followed by a fitting sunset.
