The man “came out of the bushes and told her he was going to follow her and sexually assault her,” police said in a WarnMe alert.

Berkeley police investigate 2 shootings in 3 days
No one was hurt and no arrests have been made. The gunfire investigations are ongoing, BPD said.

Rollover car crash knocks out power to thousands in Berkeley
The driver reported no injuries. Police said they do not believe impairment was a factor in the solo crash.
