The Alameda County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. until after 8 p.m. to interview the finalists for the vacant DA position and take public comment.
We live-tweeted the whole meeting but did not attend in person due to illness.

You'll eventually be able to watch the recorded meeting but it hasn't been posted yet. The Jan. 21 video link will appear under the "Special meetings" section when the county uploads the recording.
Take note of the following dates:
- Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 3 p.m.: The Board of Supervisors is set to make its choice for Alameda County's next DA. The meeting agenda and streaming link will be posted online in advance.
- This coming Thursday, Jan. 23, from 5-7 p.m., the Alameda County District Attorney "Accountability Table" will hold a candidate forum on Zoom
- On Saturday, Jan. 25, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., the Justice Reinvestment Coalition and Restore Oakland will hold a hybrid DA candidate forum.
