TBS Today, Jan. 6
There have been so many gun cases in Berkeley in the last 10 days that we decided to do a roundup to get you up to speed after pulling the court files.
According to our tally, BPD has seized at least six guns since Dec. 28, outpacing historic averages.
The reports — all of which resulted in arrests — run the gamut.
- A man pointed a "musket" at people in a crowded block near UC Berkeley
- The seizure of suspected drugs and a loaded handgun during a traffic stop
- A car thief, caught red-handed, with a stolen gun in his waistband
- A convicted killer found with a ghost gun after a shoplifting report
- And a new gun case stemming from an old Berkeley warrant
You won't find this exclusive reporting anywhere else.
