A Flock camera alert in West Berkeley this week saw two people arrested in connection with a loaded gun, drugs, a stolen car and alleged ID theft, authorities report.

Berkeley police seize gun, arrest man, woman after ALPR hit
Mustafa Aqa and Jessica Villalobos were arrested in a stolen car where officers found a loaded firearm and more than 24 grams of meth, police say.

Also: Police are investigating a report of a possible kidnapping attempt in West Berkeley on Thursday morning.

Authorities said they “do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the greater community’s safety” at this time.

A caller told police the shooter was a white woman with facial piercings and neck tattoos who fired the gun in an apartment on Addison Street.
