TBS Today, Dec. 20
Just one quick story for you today: On Friday morning, a driver told police their vehicle had been shot at and damaged near Tunnel and Roble roads.
It's the third (non-injury) shooting in Berkeley since early Thursday morning.
Councilman Mark Humbert, who represents the Claremont-Elmwood neighborhood, encouraged anyone with information about Friday morning's shooting to share it with police as soon as possible.
"The gunfire in our neighborhood this morning is deeply unsettling, but I am relieved that no one was hurt," he said. "This incident reinforces the importance of our new automated license plate reader system, and I will work to put pressure on Caltrans to approve installation in the outstanding locations."
We're out of town this weekend but keeping it local next week. So we'll be ready if news breaks!
If you're a pup owner who IS around Saturday, Fieldwork is having a "Dogly Sweater Contest" from 1-3 p.m. So sorry to miss this one!
Also excited to report that we have a new business mailing address. If you need to send anything our way, we're now at 2991 Sacramento St., Unit #355, Berkeley, CA, 94702.

Also wanted to share a fun story from our archives. On a site like ours, they don't come often. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
