TBS Today: Ishii now leads for Berkeley mayor

Adena Ishii is now in first place for Berkeley mayor and Sophie Hahn is in second, according to the latest election results, which just came out at 4:10 p.m.

The margin is 51% to 49%.

The ranked-choice calculation left Ishii with 24,265 votes (51%) to Hahn’s 23,120 votes (49%).
Update: Pedestrian dies after Berkeley car crash
The man who was killed was a 78-year-old Berkeley resident. The driver was a 79-year-old Berkeley woman. It was the fourth traffic fatality this year.

As of Friday, Nov. 15, about 664,000 ballots had been tallied from Alameda County, with more than 50,000 from Berkeley. See the latest results.
