2024 Election: How to find your Alameda County voter guide
Here's our step-by-step guide to find your voter guide online, along with some other election resources.
Many Alameda County voters have been struggling to fill out their ballots this month due to missing paper voter guides from the county — which are supposedly still in transit.
Fortunately, you can find the information online if you know where to look.
Here's our step-by-step guide to finding your 2024 Alameda County voter information guide online, along with some other handy election resources.
Step 1: Fill out your voter profile on the Alameda County registrar of voters website and then login. This allows you to see what's on your individual ballot.
Step 2: After logging in, click the "Election" tab at the top of the page. Here, you can see the status of your actual ballot and find a link to your 2024 Alameda County voter information guide. Click the link (circled in red below) to see the guide.
Step 3: From there, click the blue button that says, "Access my voter guide."
Step 4: The next page includes links to your candidate statements and any measures that will be on your ballot.
On Tuesday, the Alameda County ROV told us that the office "has been working with USPS" to ensure that the voter guides are delivered.
The guides are also available in person at the ROV's office (at 1225 Fallon St. in Oakland) and, starting this weekend, in Alameda County vote centers.
Still have questions? You can call the Alameda County registrar of voters at 510-272-6973.
