A judge dropped a high-profile manslaughter case against two police officers Monday, saying the Alameda County DA's office "jeopardized the prosecution" by failing to file the necessary paperwork in time.

Today was a tough day hearing closing arguments in the Santa Cruz murder case we've been following.

Arguments continue tomorrow and we expect to publish a story after that pulling together everything we've learned.
