In other news
The big news this week on the Pamela Price recall front was Congressman Eric Swalwell's endorsement of the recall campaign.
Swalwell worked in the Alameda County DA's office from 2006-10.
We couldn't be there due to a scheduling conflict, but his announcement was widely covered.
The other big story in public safety news this week was the massive settlement expected from BUSD in relation to a sexual misconduct lawsuit involving decades of abuse by a Berkeley High teacher.
Other news outlets also covered this well. If there are still open questions, we will plan to find out more. Reply to this email to let us know what you'd still like to learn.
The San Francisco Chronicle also covered the lawsuit settlement but the story is behind a paywall.
