The big news this week on the Pamela Price recall front was Congressman Eric Swalwell's endorsement of the recall campaign.

Swalwell worked in the Alameda County DA's office from 2006-10.

We couldn't be there due to a scheduling conflict, but his announcement was widely covered.

“He’s parroting the same unfounded claims that we’re not prosecuting, that we’re releasing people,” said DA Price, telling ABC7 News several times that Rep. Swalwell’s actions are disappointing.

The other big story in public safety news this week was the massive settlement expected from BUSD in relation to a sexual misconduct lawsuit involving decades of abuse by a Berkeley High teacher.
