For two years, we’ve worked tirelessly to get you the local news you need, with context, compassion and detail.
For much of that time, we’ve closely covered the DA’s office, from the cases that shed light on new policies, to the First Amendment and misconduct controversies, to the recent voter suppression allegations against DA Pamela Price.
We’ve pulled more than a few all-nighters and published more than 1,200 stories and newsletters.
Since we launched the site in September 2022, we’ve won major awards and reported on wild weather, heart-wrenching traffic collisions and more than 30 homicide cases.
We’re still amazed by the support The Scanner has received and honored to be your go-to source for local public safety news.
As we look to the future, there’s so much on the horizon.
