TBS Today: We did it!

The Berkeley Scanner has won four first-place California Journalism Awards, for news coverage as well as business sustainability.

The winners were announced at a gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

We're so proud to bring back big wins for our readers. We simply would not be here without your generous support and encouragement.

Berkeley Scanner wins 4 California Journalism Awards
Hundreds of journalists, described by organizers as the best in the state, attended the event.

Over the weekend, we also got to speak on a panel about our membership model, connect with many inspiring news orgs from around the state, and catch up with our friend David Loy from the First Amendment Coalition, who helped us so much last year.

It was a great weekend and we're also happy to be home!
