TBS Today, June 26

We've been in court most of this week on the Joe Carroll trial, which is going to take up a lot of time in the coming months.

Don't expect daily dispatches but we'll keep you in the loop about significant updates. There has been a lot of interesting testimony this week.

We're planning a new installment on that for tomorrow.

After court yesterday, we went to the Berkeley City Council meeting, which went until almost midnight.

It was City Manager Dee Williams-Ridley's final meeting, Councilman Igor Tregub's first regular meeting and also the biennial budget vote.

If you're on X, you can see our thread about budget highlights. We hope to have a story tomorrow.

We also have several interesting BPD cases to update you on from the past week or so.

We've been told some investigative work remains underway. Stories are forthcoming as soon as that wraps up.
