Police said he would be arrested on suspicion of being a prohibited person in possession of a gun as well as drug possession charges.

Authorities are reviewing lobby security footage and have collected samples from the scene to learn more about what happened, BFD said.

On Friday, the Alameda County DA's office was recused from the prosecution of a high-profile fatal police shooting case that had been set to begin trial in April.
It's the second successful recusal motion of the entire office this year.
