Berkeley couple carjacked while arriving home with baby

A Berkeley couple in their 30s arrived home with their baby Sunday night only to be carjacked by a group of men who took their Subaru, authorities report.
The carjacking took place in the 2700 block of Acton Street, near Oregon Street, shortly before 9 p.m.
Berkeley police said the couple had just parked in front of their house when the confrontation happened as the mother was attempting to put the child to sleep and the father was unloading the car.
That's when four men in a black sedan pulled up and demanded the father's keys, cellphone and other items.
The men took the couple's Subaru Outback, which was still missing as of Monday night, Berkeley police said.
